[Music in the Cave]

This animation goes on far too long. There are only a couple of mildly humorous moments. I would not call it a comedy. It is also really slow. However, I don't want to be too hard on you as this is your first long animation. I thought the art was good and the animation was quite good. Good luck with your degree and future animations.

[Tarboy]

Perfection.

This movie is incredible and is worthy of all the superlatives in the world.

The art direction is phenomenal. It looks like the movie has been influenced by German Expressionism and uses this style to devastating creative effect. There are so many parts that demonstrate this so well. For example, the part when the lights go out and tarboy is in the room with the insect-like robot.

The sound fits the movie perfectly, and is nothing short of epic. I especially love the piece when tarboy is melting. I'm actually tempted to buy the soundtrack....

The plot and the way it is arranged is also terrific. I love the way the granda robot is telling the story to the boy, and the twist that the granda robot is actually the janitor who kept the melted tarboy in a jar.

This is an incredibly creative and well-polished movie that is among the best I've ever seen. I recommend that everyone should watch it and discover the new phenomenon that is tarboy.
